Google Still the World's Favorite Search Engine

Google remains the most popular search engine leaving Cuil and Wikia Search behind by a long shot. The two new search engines received a lot of media attention as both claimed to beat Google. Somehow, the days passed with Google still gaining 70.77 percent of search engine usage.
Wikia Search was released on June 2008 as an upgraded version designed with improved screen display and facilities for users to rate edit and enhance the search results. These new features gained high praise and were widely welcomed by a number of former critics. The engine only holds .000079 percent share of the search market in the U.S.

Cuil garnered a better share of .0070 percent, still way below than what Google has. It was launched a few weeks ago and was also widely received by the media. It’s most popular features are organizing web pages by content and displaying relatively long entries along with thumbnail pictures for many results.
