IT Support was used by the IT engineers behind the popular Internet site YouTube in order to have a new free IT service launched in the UK. The film-streaming site has a catalogue of more than 400 titles and the IT company hopes that it will expand over time. The YouTube Movies will use rate-adaptive streaming to deliver films over broadband. The company made deal with US movie studios, such as MGM and Sony, and also UK-based film streaming website Blinkbox. Michael Comish, the CEO of Blinkbox, said that "We hope that people will try them and then come back and use Blinkbox, although we are making some revenue from adverts sold around the service." Even though the movies will have headline actors, most titles fall into categories such as "classic", "arthouse", "cult".
