Users outrage as Facebook announced trail -pay to promote- tool

Littlefish News

The Facebook trail run of the pay to promote tool has not been poorly received by a large majority of users since the announcement. Though some have noted that this is obviously a money making scheme targeted at businesses to help advertising, Facebook is putting the idea forward as a new way of sharing with friends. The idea of having to pay to use Facebook has angered many. The responses are mainly threats from users that they will quit using the service before paying a penny and removing friends who will start forcing their posts into top places on friends walls. There are some however who simply state that if they have to pay to let people know Im about to eat a sandwich- anonymous commenter then so be it.Payments for posts are expected to be around 50p with high priced posts being charged at 1.25 and will have to be made by PayPal or a credit card.Twitter has historically employed a similarIT productwhich is not used by the main body of everyday users. Tumblr has just imtroducedthe samenew tool- most users say they have not seen in used. It is really only ever gonig to be a tool used by businesses to increase business awareness.
