U.S. Internet Infrastructure Vulnerable To Cyber Attack

Littlefish News

IT Support needs to be used by IT engineers that are looking for designing new ways of improving the IT security of the U.S. Internet infrastructure. It seems that because of the fact that the U.S. Internet infrastructure has to deal with a general instability of its base, there are many ways that cyber terrorists could start a war. According to director of the agency in charge of protecting the federal government's IT network, cloud computing and and an increasingly mobile workforce don't make things easier when it comes to IT threats. So, Randy Vickers, director of the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT), said that "With decades of IT infrastructure built to support changing technologies, there is little ability to baseline the entire infrastructure within the United States. This variety of platforms and applications provides many possible vectors by which to attack infrastructure. The environment is only going to increase in complexity, and as more threat capabilities are developed the risk to our information infrastructure that we are so heavily dependent upon also increases."
