According a Network Box analysis, three percent of the viruses across the web come from the UK. The US and Korea, on the other hand, are biggest sources of the world's most dangerous viruses, with 17.2 percent and 17 percent respectively. The UK was not included in the top 10 sources of spam, which pushed the U.S to the top spot, accounting 11.4 percent. Brazil came in second at eight percent. Turkey and South Korea were the third biggest spam capital. Network Box internet security expert Simon Heron said, “The growth in internet threats has slowed slightly from the massive 63 per cent we saw last month, but clearly in terms of volumes spam and malware are still rising significantly. We're still seeing the same suspects responsible: namely, the US and Korea.”
