Skype for Android has Flaws

Littlefish News

The IT company behind the VoIP software Skype needs to have its IT engineers use IT Support in order to fix the IT security issues the IT service for Android has. These flaws leave sensitive data such as user details and personal data vulnerable to hack attacks. The Android Police found out that the problem of Skype is the way it stores data. Justin Case, the author of the report, said that "I was in shock at just how much information I could harvest. Everything was available to the rogue app I created, without the need for root or any special permissions and affected Skype for Android (which has been available since October 2010), meaning this affects all of the at least 10 million users of the app." A good solution for businesses not worry about IT security would be IT managed services.
