Skyfire Showing Flash On Android

Littlefish News

IT Support was used by the team of IT engineers from a Silicon Valley start-up in order to release an interesting IT service, the first Internet browser that gives IT connectivity users the possibility to play Flash video on Android. The IT company launched this service on the day that Apple CEO Steve Jobs wrote a letter where he explained why he wanted to keep Adobe's IT product, Flash, away from the iPhone. Skyfire CEO Jeff Glueck wrote on the Internet in a blog post that "You may hear Skyfire described as 'making Flash run' on mobile phones. Yet with Skyfire 2.0, we're actually doing something distinct. We're translating Flash videos (and soon others like Silverlight and WindowsMedia and Quicktime) into a format easier on your phone: HTML5 video." Even though Steve Jobs is sure of the fact that the technology of Flash is not something absolutely necessary for Apple's products, Skyfire decided to make something good of it and that is transcoding Flash video into a non-proprietary format.
