Microsoft Warns Against Third Party Phone Update

Littlefish News

IT Support might need to be used if owners of IT products such as Windows Phone 7 use third party Internet sites to install the new update released by Microsoft. The IT company has warned Windows Phone 7 owners to wait until they get the latest update of the software properly. Microsoft launched the NoDo upgrade that gives users features like cut and paste. Even if the company has been sending the update through mobile operators, IT engineer Chris Walsh released a tool that gives users the possibility of installing the update without having to wait for their mobile operator. Eric Hautala, Windows Phone 7 general manager of customer experience engineering, said that "If you attempt one of these workarounds... you might not be getting the important device-specific software. Or your phone might get misconfigured and not receive future updates. It’s even possible your phone might stop working properly."
