IT Support was used by the team of IT engineers from IT company Microsoft in order to design a very interesting IT product that after 18 months is going to be available to IT services users. The IT product is called Tag and it's finally coming out of beta and it is based on a mobile barcode technology, the software giant announced on its blog. One of the most interesting pieces of information is that Tag is going to be free to use. Even though the product is going to be free to use when talking about day to day users, the company is planning on releasing a more powerful version that will be available to businesses for a certain fee. This means that it will include advanced reporting, analytics and real-time location services. The product gives marketers the possibility of adding a mobile barcode to promotional materials. When Tag users scan the barcode through their mobile cameras, they get more information about the products such as videos, Internet sites, discounts and many others.
