Kaspersky Lab has added yet another line to its growing business, the Mobile Security 8.0, which is built for smartphones. The software guards classified data kept in smartphones in case they are stolen or lost. Users may use its SMS Find feature to identify the location of their device. All they need to do is send an SMS encrypted with a password. A link is then sent to the users redirecting them to Google Maps, and providing the exact coordinates. The Mobile Security 8.0 features SMS Block, which allows users to remotely block access their phones. Another highlight is the SMS Clean, which enables users to clear up their device's internal memory as well as the memory cards through SMS code. Kaspersky also included an anti-spam filter in the software, allowing users to block unwanted messages and voice calls. The anti-virus scanner also filters all types of SMS, MMS, and email messages, cleaning them from possible threats.
