A YouGov study has bared that UK’s addiction to the internet is relentlessly growing. The survey showed how internet users in Britain are severely hooked in the web. About 44 percent admitted they feel stressed if they can’t go online. It was also revealed that 19 percent of people spend more time accessing the internet rather than spending time with their family in a week and 34 percent said they would prefer the internet over exercise for a month.
The number of people using the internet across the UK has already reached 32 million. This is attributed to the increase in cheaper broadband deals and greater accessibility of the internet. Though some may find the figures alarming, there are also people who consider it benificial as the increase in internet usage means a boost in IT support jobs.
