Internet Explorer 9 Beta to Be Released in September

Littlefish News

IT Support is being used by the team of IT engineers from IT company Microsoft because of the fact that a beta version of its IT service, the popular web browser - Internet Explorer 9, will be released in September. This move comes as the software giant wants to get back on its feet when it comes to the browser market. The IT company has already launched three previews of Internet Explorer 9 which show the improvements it has made to the web browser. Kevin Turner, Microsoft's chief operating officer, said at the company's financial analysts meeting that "We're really excited about IE9 which will be beta and coming out in September. Yes, we had a little headwinds, we had several things we had to do with IE8 this past year, but guess what? Per external data in the marketplace, in May and June, we grew share in the browser space for the first time in a very long time." The interesting thing is that Internet Explorer had a higher market share in June, being responsible for 60 percent of the browser market. "The momentum on that has turned and it's a whole new day. And where we're going with IE9 and what we're going to do from an HTML 5 standard standpoint and where we're going from a speed standpoint, we're really going in a big way in this space... and have a great story to tell including around safety and security in the browser space," he added.
