At the "Let’s Rock" event, what was rumored to be the launching of fully recreated iPod Touch and iPod classics has finally come true. Apple has introduced a much slimmer iPod Touch, with the stainless steel back being retained and the profile altered. It also features a side control for adjusting the volume and a Genius playlist function, with the button placed right in the center of the album art where the screen is tapped.
For the iPod classic, capacity was boosted to 120 GB for roughly the same price of £179. Apple has squelched the 120 GB hard drive in the 80GB svelte frame and scrapped the much stockier 160 GB.
