Microsoft Features Wi-Fi in Zune

Microsoft Features Wi-Fi in ZuneMultinational computer technology corporation Microsoft has announced an update on its Zune media player featuring wireless capability. With the update, users can wirelessly download and stream songs if they have access to a WI-Fi network.

The planned release of free updates to Zune’s software and firmware is slated on September 16.  Zune software and firmware updates will be build on its current wireless functionality by allowing users to buy songs from Zune Marketplace online music store.

Microsoft has also updated Zune hardware with 120GB hard drive (US$249) and 16GB flash drive (US$199) models. The 8 GB and 4 GB flash models cost $149.99 and $129.99, respectively.
