It seems that the popular Internet site Facebook will have a rival beginning next month because of a new IT service called Diaspora. This means that when it comes to social networking, IT connectivity users will have more than one option. The IT engineers that have been working at the open-source Diaspora said that the first version of the site will be released on 15 September. The developers said that they've been trying to find a way to share content without hurting the privacy of the users. "That means an intuitive way for users to decide, and not notice deciding, what content goes to their co-workers and what goes to their drinking buddies. We know thats a hard UI problem and we take it seriously," they said.
