IT security is a very important concern in the world of IT connectivity and in order to improve it, Internet company Google has decided to take some harsh measures regarding its IT service, the Chrome browser. It seems that the IT company doesn't accept any out of date browsing software and for that it keeps it blocked from Chrome. Because of the fact that plug-ins such as Adobe's Flash and Reader don't auto-update, they are very popular when talking about malware.Google wrote in its Chromium blog that "We're seeing a remarkable swing towards attacks that target pieces of browsing infrastructure, such as plug-ins. Since many plug-ins are ubiquitous, they pose the most significant risk to our user base. Some plug-ins are widely installed but typically not required for today's internet experience. For most users, any attempt to instantiate such a plug-in is suspicious and Google Chrome will warn on this condition." Also, the company is thinking of warning browsers with an alert before users would try to run rarely used applications as these represent a higher risk of being used by cyber criminals.
