Another Set of SSL Certificate Domains Launched

Another Set of SSL Certificate Domains LaunchedGlobalSign and 123-reg have collaborated to come up with a set of SSL certificate products. The domains allow online businesses to obtain, install, as well as activate SSL security on purchasing, check out and log in pages.

"We have partnered with GlobalSign, an established international Certificate Authority, to offer the most feature packed and cost effective SSL security options to our customers," 123-reg managing director Thomas Vollrath said.

“Given how security conscious online shoppers have become, businesses must now provide the reassurances that help convert visitors into customers and aim to reduce the amount of shopping cart abandonment due to security concerns. The 123-reg SSL range now helps our customers achieve this.”

123-reg is the largest domain registrar across the UK. It’s SSL Certificates start from only £5.99 per year. The package covers five years of usage of the certificates. Its extended validation range enables the green address bar, which indicates that the website has undergone a thorough examination.

Paul Tourret, GlobalSign’s managing director, said, “We are very pleased to see that 123-reg and the Webfusion Group hold customer security in such high regard. Partnering with GlobalSign SSL means the Group can provide the highest grade SSL security and continue to offer a trusted service to their customers.”
