Man Commits Suicide Online

A man from Utah, Brent MacMillan, streamed his suicide on his webcam with his ex-girlfriend watching the horrible incident on the other end. Reports say that police were tipped off with the man's plan and and immediately went to his house to find him alive and well. There was a negotiator present who tried to convince MacMillan not to commit the act. The police thought they successfully persuaded him to surrender, but they heard gunshots minutes after.
Macmillan shot himself in the chest with a hunting rifle. What struck the police when they went inside his house was that MacMillan had broadcast the whole crime to his distraught ex-girlfriend hundreds of miles away.
