Women Conquering the World of IT

The IT world has been dominated by men, but women are slowly joining the IT workforce.
Women working in technology industry consist of only 25 percent of all IT workers, and this is attributed to their lack of interest in the business. However, there are some women who are most particularly absorbed with how the IT industry works.

One case in point is Janina Voigt. She is the only female member of this year's New Zealand Imagine Cup team. She became one of only two student participants in a high-powered Women in IT forum run with the technology competition.



The IT world may be ruled by men, but it won't be long until women will start to make their mark in this business.
