Nvidia to Cut Hundreds of Jobs

Chip firm Nvidia has declared it is retrenching about 360 jobs as the company focuses on key developments. Nvidia has around 5,000 employees all over the world, and offices in England, Finland, France, China, Russia, Japan and Korea among others. The move is deemed to be yet another upshot of the entire American economy recession.


The job cut is likely to conclude by the end of October. Retrenched employees will receive separation packages, counselling and job placement services.



Nvidia is a multinational corporation which specializes in the manufacture of graphics-processor technologies for workstations, desktop computers, and mobile devices. The company has become a  major supplier of integrated circuits used for personal-computer motherboard chipsets, graphics processing units and game consoles.
