Microsoft Expands Small-Business Program Incentives

Microsoft has added a new line of products to its Big Easy program benifiting small and mid-sized business customers.

Microsoft has introduced Big Easy 2.0, a revision of its program originally launched on February which costs $10 million. The company aims to provide 10 to 22 percent of money back to small enterprises acquiring products approved by specialist partners. Big Easy 2.0 covers most of the core Microsoft products and solutions that are sold to small and midsize customers.

In addition, the program allows small-business customers to buy licenses for Microsoft's SQL Server database without the need to purchase the company's Enterprise Assurance maintenance program. The program also has additional products available to subsidies such as Windows Essential Business Server and Windows Server Data Center Edition. A comprehensive list of these products is available on Microsoft's  Big Easy Web site. Microsoft is running Big Easy 2.0 until December 31.
