Google, Yahoo Puts Off Ad Deal

Sarch giants Yahoo and Google have decided to postpone its ad collaboration amidst investigation conducted by the federal government. The impending ad deal sparked numerous complaints from consumers, businesses, and advocacy groups who are apprehensive of the rise of monopoly in the ad market.

Google is the world leader in the search industry trailed by Yahoo. The deal would allow Google to post its ads alongside Yahoo's search results. The two companies would then share earnings from those ads.

The US Department of Justice has launched an antitrust probe into the advertising deal announced by Yahoo and Google in June. DOJ aims to establish if the deal is anti-competitive.
