The RTC or Resolution Trust Corp. has become the most searched company name in Google since the federal government announced it would form a unit with the same functionality as that of RTC. The news bouyed up investors who aided Wall Street to pull through 400 points.


Wall Street was hit hard by the worldwide economic downturn, and the crisis in the financial industry has sent many businesses reeling. With Lehman filing for bankruptcy and A.I.G in instability, investors fear that consumers and companies could hardly even get a loan to succor their own financial woes.
