Spam Still Costs Companies Thousands

According to reports made by security firm McAfee, spam is still prevalent within business organizations and its forcing companies to spend thousands of pounds. Most firms are already fat dumb and happy about spam filtering believing this would alleviate the problem. However, enabling spam filters would customarily miss two spam messages per day. 
 

McAfee's report pointed that reading two spam messages a day would cost each employee a minute in lost productivity. This means companies are incurring an annual loss of $182,500 (£130,000) with 1,000 employees.

 

The report indicated that firma could cache thousands per year if they choose to use the most updated spam filtering systems. Companies should use those with 99.5% accuracy to avoid spending thousands, if not millions, for damages caused by spam messages.
