Palin Email Attacker Indicted
The 20 year-old son of a Democratic Tennessee Congressman was formally charged for hacking the email account of Republican vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin. David Kernell entered a not guilty plea.The federal court in Knoxville released Kernell without bail, however, certain conditions have been levied. One of which is restriction to use a computer or the internet. Kernell is prohibited to own a computer for checking email and for class purposes.
The trial is slated on December 16 of this year. Should Kernell be convicted, he will be facing a maximum of five years in jail, and will be fined $250,000 plus a three-year supervised release.
