Hackers Not Accountable for Corporate Data Loss
A survey participated by IT experts has revealed the insignificant involvement of hackers in corporate data outflow. Results showed that 75 percent of the breach cases are administered by inside staff. Cases wherein outside hacker were involved only accounted a surprising one percent.About 41 percent of data fissures took place in mainframes which sparked serious concerns since most of the world's data is kept on such systems. The survey involved 3,596 IT specialists in the US, UK, France and Germany.
The UK incurred more data loss which are operated by hackers, recording three percent. Most of the people responsible for data breaches in the country are malevolent inside personnels which accounted a whopping 37 per cent. What's even alarming is the fraction of data loss caused by employee negligence which accumulated 63 per cent.
