Gary McKinnon Denied of Last Supreme Court Appeal

Gary McKinnon was declined of another appeal to the UK Supreme Court.

McKinnon was accused of hacking 97 military computer systems, which cost the US $800,000 (£487,000) in damages. He admitted to the hacking allegations but denied it was of malicious intent. McKinnon has tried to make an appeal several times against his extradition but failed all attempts.

If convicted, Mckinnon will serve 70 years in US jail. He tried appealing to the House of Lords and European Court of Human Rights, but was unsuccessful. His lawyers argued McKinnon was not givent enough consideration despite the fact that he was suffering from Asperger's Syndrome.

Home secretary Alan Johnson could prevent the extradition, but has not interfered in the case so far.
