Facebook Admits Site Problems

Social networking site Facebook has verified that several users experienced problems within the site. Some had difficulties logging on, seeing error messages when posting content and are unable to view their accounts. 
 

"We are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible," Facebook announced. 

 

The firm, however, did not reveal the underlying cause of the glitches.  The problems arose following Facebook’s announcement that it had passed 300 million users and that its cash flow turned positive last quarter. 

 

Facebook CEO admitted the website could encounter "fun and important challenges" as its user base keeps on growing.
