Data Sharing Bill Feared to Put Patient Records At Risk

According to UK's medical fraternity, the new Data Sharing Bill may expose patient information to online scammers. The group strongly denounce the US government's plan to share data including medical records. 
 

Eight groups representing professionals from the medical society have requested Justice Minister Jack Straw to write off patient's personal information from the data sharing bill. 

 

The organizations expressed grave concern over the government's ability to access people's medical records. They pointed out the legislation's possible impact on the health policy and the great danger it may pose to patient's information security.
