A colocation data centre located in Dallas, Texas was swooped by the FBI on Thursday morning. The FBI is said to have taken computer equipment from Core IP Networks LLC, as part of an ongoing investigation on the firm that acquired services from the colo.Core IP CEO Matthew Simpson said the raid took place at 323 Bryan St., where other data centres like Digital Realty Trust, Telx and Capstar Commercial Real Estate are located.
Simpson added, "The only data that I have received thus far is that the FBI is investigating a company that has purchased services from Core IP in the past. This company does not even colocate with us anywhere, much less 2323 Bryan Street Datacenter."
