It seems that IT company McAfee has helped without knowing an IT engineer that developed exploit code for an unpatched hole in Microsoft's IT service, Internet Explorer, but the older versions of it. The IT security researcher, Moshe Ben Abu (AKA Trancer00t) used IT Support to develop the exploit code for the flaw in Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and he said that IT security products vendor McAfee had its part in this.

Moshe Ben Abu, Israeli security researcher, wrote on Thursday in a Twitter post that "I didn't find the vuln', just found it in the wild. With a little help from McAfee (http://j.mp/c4W3xA) :-)." McAfee helped him with a blog post, thing that made the IT company review closely what it posted. "We regularly sanitize blog content to prevent providing information that might assist attackers, while at the same time providing a service to customers and the security community to help improve protection levels," a McAfee spokesman said.
