According to Trey Ford, director of solutions architecture for WhiteHat Security, e-commerce firms should put a more constricted security system to thwart malicious attacks. Ford explained at the RSA 2009 conference the fallout in procurement systems which could be detrimental to business organizations. 
 

Ford laid out some techniques to keep systems secured. One thing that's commonly used by scammers is the "pump and dump" method because of its high profitability. Ford fully explained how firms could avert from such attack and enumerated various kinds of approach that doesn't require too much technical skill. 

 

The amount of trade conducted via electronic commerce has grown immensely because of the far-reaching use of the internet. Along with its popularity is a great risk that could hurt major businesses. Firms may need tighter security if most transactions are done through online dealings. Keeping an efficient IT support group would be the best option to preclude far greater risks and completely secure systems from potential attacks.
