Symantec Claims IE Attacks Will Get Worse
IT Support will be needed again in the near future as IT company Symantec thinks that the IT security vulnerability that affects Internet Explorer will still be the target of many hackers in the future. This happens even though software giant Microsoft released yesterday a patch for the flaw and the thing is that the attacks will get worse, according to Symantec. It seems the company has already seen a new attack that targets the same flaw in IE.There are many countries that still have unpatched versions of Internet Explorer such as China, South Korea and Poland and this means that the flaw can still be exploited. Senior security response manager at Symantec, Kevin Hogan said that "The Google attack has come and gone and has largely been dealt with. But we will continue to see leveraging of the Internet Explorer exploit. It will be used in a whole host of other attacks."
