Spammers Target BitTorrent Users

Millions of emails have been sent to BitTorrent users claiming to be from MediaDefender. The spams inform the recipients that their illegal filesharing is being monitored and they are prompted to open an attachment purported to be data regarding the violations. The attachment actually contain a deadly virus designed to attack the recipients computer system.
