Secure-Me Offers ID-theft Protection Service
IT company Secure-Me has used IT Support in order to develop and launch an IT service with the same name that would take care of an Internet surfer's IT security and privacy. The service has been launched today in the UK and it is available for PCs, Macs and smartphones and the center piece is the secure browser that encrypts all traffic that comes to and from the user's machine, this way protecting it from identity theft.Another feature of Secure-Me is that it compresses data in order to make transfers occur at a much higher speed. Also, its anonymity feature is possible by taking traffic through the Secure-Me's US servers. Anti-virus is also included and its role is to check the websites visited by the surfer by using McAfee's Site Advisor database of malicious websites. Other interesting features: virtual keyboard, keystroke interference software. It works with browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari.
