Microsoft Fixes Bugs and Announces Flaw in IE
IT Support was used by IT company Microsoft in its Patch Tuesday of this month. The arrival of the IT security fixes of vulnerabilities in the company's IT products also brings news of other vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer 6 and 7. The good news is that Microsoft releases only two security bulletins for Windows and Microsoft Office. The bad news is that users of earlier versions of IE have to upgrade to IE 8 to be safe online.Microsoft said that "At this time, we are aware of targeted attacks attempting to use this vulnerability. We will continue to monitor the threat environment and update this advisory if this situation changes," talking about the bug present in IE 6 and 7. Andrew Storms, director of security operations at nCircle Network Security said that "It's a vote of confidence for IE 8 and a reminder that IE 6 is at the end of its life and should be." Regarding the fixes for Windows and Microsoft Office, the bulletins are noted as important and all versions of Office are affected.
