As we said yesterday, Microsoft has used IT Support to release a patch that has 13 IT security bulletins. This is the biggest number of security bulletins released in February for the past four years and they address vulnerabilities in software such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. The bulletins will be released next week on Tuesday, according to the IT company that said this on Thursday.

Five of the bulletins are considered critical, but the thing is that one IT security hole won't be fixed and it refers to the company's Internet browser - Internet Explorer. The company said that it is investigating a flaw in Internet Explorer that was reported by a researcher. "Our investigation so far has shown that if a user is using a version of Internet Explorer that is not running in Protected Mode an attacker may be able to access files with an already known filename and location," Microsoft said.
