Juniper Networks with Critical Flaw
IT company Juniper Networks needs to use IT Support as its gateway routers have a critical flaw that gives hackers the possibility to crash the IT products. On Wednesday the networking company said because of malicious internet packets they may receive, the devices could have to reboot. When talking about the devices affected there are versions 3 through 10 of Junos, backbones and other networks.Because of the advisory the company released on Wednesday some IT security researchers have started to give close attention to the matter. "The Junos kernel will crash when a specifically crafted TCP option is received on a listening TCP port. The packet cannot be filtered with Junos's firewall filter. A router receiving this specific TCP packet will crash and reboot," said the company. Nobody knows how many devices are vulnerable or when there will be patches released.
