IT Support Staff Consider Moving Abroad
According to the head-hunters’ yearly salary report, majority of IT support employees consider moving to other countries. The report revealed that 70 percent experts in the IT support sector are looking into working abroad. Around 39 percent of regular employees also think about quitting from their IT profession.The survey further showed that 92 percent are still looking for work or monitoring the job market.
“Employers who are willing to demonstrate a commitment to their employees and a progressive approach to the challenges of today’s working environment have the potential to retain and attract the best candidates,” Computer People managing director Nick Dettmar said.
Respondent who have high regard on job security increased from 77 percent in 2009 to 77 percent this year. IT support employees have become more concerned with job security than higher pay.
