IT Support Fund Raising Initiatives on the Rise

Companies offering IT support have showcased a number of state-of-the-art technologies to raise funds at the 10th Cambridge Enterprise Conference at Cambridge University.
 

Some of the technologies highlighted include a plug that downloads content to a mobile device through fixed broadband without the need of a PC and an online statistics service built to make journalists and government servants look well informed.

 

Several IT companies played part in the event in order to boost their funding. One firm that caught everyone’s attention was Cronto, who designed a mobile applet that takes a picture of a visual cryptogram or 2D barcode presented on the PC screen to verify the details of the transaction. Another product introduced was Timetric SIS, an online statistics service and data analytics tool. RatPlug, a USB charger that automatically uploads and downloads multimedia content to and from mobile devices without the need for a PC, was also displayed.
