Google Plans Better Internet Connection
Google Plans Better Internet Connection
On Wednesday, Google announced that it will use IT Support in order to get to IT connectivity users an IT service with a performance never seen before. The IT company wants to make some experimental high-speed networks that would be able to provide broadband 100 times faster than the one found in the U.S. These high-speed networks will be build in a small number of locations where it will be tested. The most interesting thing is that Google claims that it will provide broadband with speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second and access will be offered to a number of people between 50,000 and 500,000. James Kelly, Google IT product manager, said that "We doing this because we want to experiment with new ways to make the Web better and faster for everyone, allowing applications that would be impossible today." Also, Google wants involvement from community partners through a Request For Information (RFI).
