Cybercrime Dreaded by Corporates
According to a survey of about 1,400 IT support guys, data theft on the web has grown rampant and even made its way to the corporate agenda. This generated mounting worries about downtime or virus infections among corporates. 90 percent of CIOs and chief security officers consider cybercrime as an ultimate business risk, potentially costing their companies.The survey also concluded that 25 percent of the respondents are already victims of data breach, and 42 percent fear that their computer system could be attacked anytime.
To sum it up, more than two thirds of those who participated the survey acknowledged the fact that their corporate intellectual property and classified information, were in danger of being penetrated.
