Bing Data Retention Time - Six Months

IT company Microsoft has decided to use IT Support in order to keep some online search query data only six months because it wants the best IT security for its IT service - Bing users. This happens a year after the software giant said that it would make this change if Internet companies Google and Yahoo! agreed to do the same.

The IT company said that this change will be made the next 12 to 18 months. “We will delete the entire Internet Protocol address associated with search queries at six months rather than at 18 months,” he said. “This new and significant step will be incorporated into our existing privacy practices, which already provide strong protections for Bing users.”
