Trusteer Releases Tool for Banks

IT company Trusteer has used IT Support in order to design its latest IT service that will give banks the possibility to investigate IT security issues when talking about customers' computers that might have been attacked by hackers. The name of the IT service is Flashlight and its "power" is to help banks security experts to see the type of malware customers have to face in order to help them with their IT security.

Mickey Boodaei, Trusteer's CEO, said that "If they find a new piece of malware they haven't seen before on their customer's computer, this malware comes to us, we reverse engineer it and find out about its capabilities. We are being attacked all the time. Because of our significant presence, they [hackers] do see that as a threat. It's a constant battle." Flashlight identifies the problem and sends a report and a copy of the much suspected software found on the customer's computer.
