Despite the slumping economy worldwide, professional workers in mobile and telecommunications market are positive that their industry will do well, according to a new survey.


The survey was participated by 880 TMT professionals by which 70 percent of the respondents anticipate the continuing fall of the US economy but also believes their sector will fare well and grow consistently.



Of the numerous TMT sectors that appear to be most auspicious to the professionals in the TMT field, 40% referred to wireless as offering the largest opportunities while mobile application development was singled out by 16 percent; also notching up was the infrastructure-engineering-manufacturing segment with 16 percent.
