Soca Issues 800m IT Contract Tender
The Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) has issued a contract tender for up to £800m worth of IT services over 10 years.The organisation is looking for a supplier to offer application development and maintenance, communications, application hosting, network services, running a datacentre, security management and end-user services.
The IT services are required in the UK, but may be international in the future, and must be structured in such a way that they can also be used by other government agencies; all tenders must be submitted by 17 March 2009.
