Opera Beta Offers Plug-in-Free Video
Because of the fact that IT company Opera has launched a Beta version of its browser, a new IT service that allows IT connectivity users to surf the Internet, a new feature attracts excited users: they get plug-in-video. By offering this new feature, Opera's IT service joins other browsers that do the same thing: Mozilla's Firefox, Apple's Safari, and Google's Chrome all provide IT Support for HTML video tag.Even though IT companies handle this feature differently, they all provide it, whereas Microsoft's Internet Explorer doesn't even come around it. Opera's Bruce Lawson and Patrick Lauke said that "The markup for the new HTML5 <video> element is an order of magnitude more readable and understandable compared to what we currently have to do in order to get Flash movies into our markup. The major advantage of the HTML5 <video> element is that finally video is a fully-fledged citizen on the Web, rather than being shunted off to the hinterland of object or the non-validating embed element."
