More Firefox Downloads Because of IE Problem

According to IT company Mozilla, its IT service - Firefox gets downloaded more and more every day because of the IT security vulnerability in Microsoft's Internet Explorer. The flaw in Internet Explorer 6 has been exploited by hackers and had something to do with Google's attack. Software giant Microsoft is using IT Support to get a patch released.

Most Firefox downloads are in Germany where the government advised citizens to avoid using Internet Explorer and get another browser. A graph made by Mozilla shows just how much has Internet Explorer lost in this battle. Mozilla's manager of analytics, Ken Kovash said that "As the chart highlights, the orange area adds up to just over 300,000 downloads during the recent Friday-Monday period."
