Google Will Test TV Internet Search
Google Will Test TV Internet Search
According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, IT company Google and Dish Network are using IT Support in order to design a search IT service that would be tested. This service would give IT connectivity users the possibility to find and see video content on conventional TV and on the Internet. The test would need to use the Android software from Google and it will determine the preferences of users.Google's chief executive, Eric Schmidt, said according to published reports that "It makes sense that people would use Android as an operating system for set-top boxes, buddy boxes and TVs. All of those ideas have been proposed by our partners." The test would show if users would like Web-like searches more than remote control searches. This move shows that this is the beginning of a new way of combining Internet searches and TVs and these two companies are starting a trend.
