Google Sued because of Google Buzz

Last week, Internet company Google was sued in Rhode Island because of the fact that it violated some privacy laws regarding IT connectivity users with its IT service which was launched in February, Google Buzz. Andranik Souvalian of Cranston, Rhode Island (a Gmail user) made this complaint and claims that "Google intentionally exceeded its authorization to access and control confidential and private information".

The complaint states that "Google, through its Buzz social networking tool, has unlawfully disclosed its customers' private communications and records. Buzz has raised privacy concerns including, but not limited to automatic importing of private contacts and showing them to friends and importing without authorization the customers' private photos onto the Buzz social network." A spokesperson from the IT company said that Google doesn't have anything to comment yet because of the fact that it hasn't been served with the complaint yet.
